i am considering gettin a set of rims that are currently on a VW GTI, how would i know if they will fit my 02 p5??? the guy said they are 5 bolt, but a german pattern

well you are pretty much out of luck....as the VW uses a 5 X 100 mm bolt pattern for their wheels...and ours are 5 X 114.3

oh damn!!!! i seen the same rims on a civic, and a neon, so i thought maybe they might fit, but i never seen them on a mazda

You MIGHT be able to get them in the right pattern: Honda uses 5x114.3 on their 5 lug cars...

well I thought you were talking about some STOCK wheels....if they are aftermarket wheels there is certainly a chance that you can get them for our cars....you just have to be careful and get the proper offset as our cars have a hard to find fitment....

You're telling me! Try finding a set of lightweight 17x7s with an offset within 6mm of stock...
