Rim questions

Hey, for spring break i am purchasing a set of new rims for my MP3, and i was thinking of Excel Maj's, they are only 17 inches. I wanted to go up in sizes of rims, but i just love the look of them so much that i am willing to stay with the same sized rims. If anyone knows anything about excel rims or the ones that i am talking about then please shed some light on the matter. Also AT Italia makes the exact rims, they are the flashes you probably have seen them in the tire rack ads in car mag's. However, i don't know how to get a hold of AT italia, nor do i know what other cars share the same lug pattern with a similar offset...if anyone knows that info also, it would be greatly appreciated. I will try this image, sorry if it doesn't work, but you can find them at wheelmax.

the all important thing you will need to do BEFORE you order these wheels....is find out what the offset is. then compare it to the recipe in the thread at the TOP of the forum...and go from there.

yes i am aware of this, but thanks for watching out for me sir nuke. I am more or less looking for feed back, any knowledge of the type of rims i want, what you think of them, etc.

I did go to wheelmax since the pic you posted was of a 4 BOLT wheel....and they do sell a 5 bolt in the correct pattern too....and as for how they look?

they are a nice lookin wheel....

call wheelmax and the operater will tell you the offset for the rims i dont think excel makes anything other then a 17 but i could be wrong im looking at the tz5 for my mp3 and they are the correct offset

alright, sweet, thanks sir nuke for watchin my back like that. I really appeciate it. I hope you get those j-spec rims that you were bugging rishie about. You will have to post pics of them as soon as you get them. I think that i am definately getting those rims. Especially since they have that deal for free shipping of all excel rims right now.....

excel rims are pretty cool, the gunmetal color dones't scratch off easily but since excel is a knock-off rim company, they don't have the highest quality metals. my friend bent his "shu4's" pretty badly very easily! just be careful around railroad tracks and potholes.

S*** i live in Michigan which is known best for its potholes, and the rail-road tracks suck too. I will maybe re-consider these.

i like those wheels.. i was actually looking at a wheel made by aerospeed that looks about the same. but it looks like ill be going with adr sokuds.. i just like the metallic gunmetal more than the deep dark gunmetal color.. sweet tho.. 2 thumz up.
rs23 gunmetal
