Right Front Drive Shaft?

When rod decided to leave the block (threw a rod), it took out the mount on the block for the right side drive shaft. Can I buy that mount for the drive shaft separately or do I need to buy the whole assembly?

your talking about the intermediate shaft correct? its 250 at the dealer...see if someone is selling it in the fs section. i got mine along with mazdaspeed axles for a good price.

nah thats the cv half shaft. im pretty sure the part he is talking about is the intermediate shaft...goes from the trans to the end of the block.

Yes it is the intermediate shaft. Where can I buy either the mount or the shaft with the mount that attaches to the engine block?

Grab the mazdaspeed set off scratch its cheaper than dealer (only place I found to get it) and they are kick ass axles. I have them in my car and was worth it
