Reviews on Posi-Quiet Pad

My personal reviews:

03.5 MSP
Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads Front and Rear

The pads are a great! They need a couple of stops when they are cold but out perform the stock pads. They don't make any noise and are a low dusting pad.

02 Protege 5
Posi Quiet Ceramic Front and Severe Duty rear

These pads in my opinnion are 10x better than the Hawks that were previously on there. The hawks could not stop on the dime... The pads do need a couple of stops just like my MSP but its well worth it especially for the price and performance.

Can you please clarify? Does that mean that when cold and you have to make an emergency stop on the highway, that it takes 60 more feet than normal to stop? That wouldn't be a good pad.....

I like the Hawk street pads; they are better than stock, hot or cold stopping grip is very good, and no need to warm up the pads.

LOL... The pad still STOPS when you need it to. It just doesn't have that intial bite feeling. Put it this way... Slowing down for 3 speed bumps and stopping before I go on the street is enough to get them good to go. Like I was saying... Hawks in my opinnion are not as good as these pad. I've used them both... and thats just what I feel. The Posi Quiet Ceramic Pad easily outbrake the Hawks.

I' got mine maybe a few weeks ago I only got the front rotors and front ceramic pads men do they work wonders I love them!!, brake smoothly and no noise and remember I only have the front pad and rotor change my car is also lowered with goldline spring and tokico struts men when I turn it feels smooth. hey proparts do you have the rear rotors blank ones in yet? and also what do you recommend for rear pad for that extra brake power thanks

The only non-stock compound rears available are from EBC and Carbotech Engineering.

I have a full review of Carbotech pads on the MSP: XP8, XP9, XP10 if you're interested.

They stop the car exceptionally well, but are very hard on the rotors (much harder than Hawks), noisy, and dusty. Also, they will not last long. If performance is your objective, go for these.

EBCs are available at:

I have the yellowstuff pads on the car now. Stopping is ok. Slightly noisy and not too dusty. Very gentle on the rotors.

hey jeff its me bryan. the posi quiet ceramic pads are great. They already oulasted the hawks by 4 months and they are barely worn-out yet. And they are cheaper. I think I will stick with these from now on. Great pads.
