Reviews Monday for 2017s?

I wouldn't call them apples and oranges being in the same class of vehicle. One is just all around better than the other. ;)

Yea...Most popular, sure. No question. No one is disputing that. Is that a pro for you? It's a con for me.

Add AWD and 19s like Mango did...$37k.

Yep pretty much. Con for me too. I've yet to do a doubletake on a CR-V. I do whenever I see a CX-5 ;)

Also those capless gas fillers have tons of issues well documented, ranging from spilled gas to the gas nozzle getting stuck in them. So at least for now, not sure that is a pro.

When are you buying your CR-V red? :)

What's the point of capless? Is this something we need? Yea, man, struggling with that damn gas cap every 2 weeks is a total pain in the ass. 👍 LOL. Not ripping on CRVs...Society in general. Oh, I bet I know why... Car companies can save 3.00 with no cap and sell it to us as a feature we need.

Yup, a con for me, too. You know why the CR-V is so popular? Because my brother-in-law, my co-workers, my friends all bought the CR-V. And they're all clueless about cars. Best of them is my brother-in-law who can change oil and wheels, but have no idea what a broker bar or a torque wrench is. When we're together on a 20-mile trip, I'm always get to the destination at least 5 minutes before them, just to show how they drive.

I did my homework when buying the CX-5, I read all about the CR-V and CX-5, test drove both of them. My brother and friends didn't even consider any other car. How's that for educated buyers? I definitely don't want to be part of the herd.

Well said. This is my favorite Mazda commercial, yea, more then Zoom Zoom kid. Are you one of the discerning few?

Great commercial. Not to mention, truly shows how much Mazda has improved the looks of their cars. People like mango just aren't part of "the few" like most of us here and they just simply don't get it.

Ha. Wife and I often discuss commercials. You know sucks at commercials? Volvo. I showed her this Mazda one. "Now that is a good commercial. Can you send that to Volvo?". LOL

I used to be on the honda "wagon" because that is what family and friends were into tbut once I test drove a mazda, there was no comparison and no looking back. Way better driving experience, more power and better handling, better style interior and exterior ... loved the zoom zoom

So true! I've had 280ZXs, MINIs, Lotus 7s, VW Rabbits, Volvos (boom01), and I seem to always wind up with Mazdas.....

[QUOTEthere are many canadians im sure here. in canada it comes with panoramic roof, and heated rear seats. the 17 cx5 has heated rear seats, but panoramic roof? hah! never. so much for mazda's approach on luxury right, no pano roof is a huge part of being in the luxury market[/QUOTE]

Coming from a Ford Edge with pano roof, and just bought a 2017 CX-5. Please tell me how a pano roof is so luxurious? Who is a pano roof for? Certainly not the driver. Cause when I'm driving my Edge and have my pano open, I can't see dick s***! The only one who has advantage of a pano roof is the backseat passenger. So please enlighten my again, on how having a pano roof is so luxurious.
