review of "Open Water"...

Gawd, I saw it aug 21st in manhattan (wait, my gf forced me to go see it with her). It was terrible. Bad acting, bad camera work, bad soundtrack. You could never tell if the music was actually a part of the movie or just the soundtrack. Very annoying. Oh and don't get me started on the digital artifacts caused by over compression. I usually like independant films, but this one is just plain awful.

i am surprised that you guys even went to see it. why would anyone want to waste their time and money on that crap. i mean its a shark movie. ooh, a shark eats everybody, oh my. how scarry. what kind of idiot even made that movie, why, oh why?

I only went to see it because my g/f wanted to, and my friend said it looked cool. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the time though...Could have seen something better.

IMO The Village was M. Night Shaflsdflsdnkl's worst movie. But I still liked it.

My order would go:
1) Signs
2) The Sixth Sense
3) Unbreakable
4) The Village
(werd) I think the Village was decent, it was just over-hyped by the media and stuff. Wasn't as scary as it was made out to be. Still #4 on the list though.

dood omg, the worst movie i have ever seen, was cold creek manor... what in the **** was that....

I kinda liked the sixth sense. I didnt get it at first but after a while you could tell where the ending was going. Unbreakable was ok... not really impressed with it but the actors were a good choice. I havent seen the others. I cant stand to watch a movie that takes place all in one little area. I couldnt sit through an entire movie knowing that these people are out in the middle of the ocean and thats what the whole movie was. I agree with people getting spooked and wanting to harm the sharks. Granted that reef sharks, esp. the bull sharks are the most agressive ones out there. But people may get the wrong idea from this movie. I havent seen that happen yet, so hopefully not. But I will tell you.... if it's between me and the shark....that sharks going DOWN BUBBA!!! lol

The only good thing about the movie(I guess) is the fact that it was only 79 minutes long. After seeing it though, even that's too long.
