Anyone have pics of their indiglo gauges installed and on at night? I'm thinking of changing the ones in my 'Speed, but I'd like so reassurance that it'll look decent.

Does this help? The pics were taken at night which is why you can't see a hell of a lot other than the glow of the gauges. The only reason I put them in my car is because I've got an LX and the gauges were a lame ass black. As I'm sure a lot of other people can tell you: Be very very careful of the gas and temp needles!!!! Cut the holes bigger on the gauges so you can slide them around the needles. Hopefully this helps you.

Hey 1garnetredlx where did you get your gauges from?

chrono204- i saw those on websites and i always thoguht they were ****** ugly but they look bad ass at night!! is it just the pic or is the inner-ring of blue glow really bright?? looks awesome. let me know exactly the brand and wehere u got em

mspeedpro - yea people say the reverse indiglos would be too bright but they can be adjusted by that glowing blue square that stepson was questioning about. its a switch to change it from 3 brightnesses of blues and 3 brightness of green for the first button and the second button is to dim the light or turn it off completely. it is just the picture that made it look bright.

that looks pretty tight man, i like it. i love how bright it is. im in texas so my gauges would be american instead of canadian but im sure itll look just as good. how much would it cost to have a shop install them do you know? did u actually recieve urs from procarparts.com? there are some on there that look exactly like that. my only concern is that i take it to a shop and they break a needle- then what!? :-O

Chrono204 - How'd you get those installed?? I've heard some horror stories of people breaking their needles and needing whole new gauge clusters. I want them SOOOOO badly but I'm scared sh*tless of doing it myself....any tips?

Well Chrono's in my club and he too did break his needles. He had to buy a used gauge cluster and get it professionally installed. I think it cost him $80 for the gauges and $150 for the install. I also think that the used cluster was like $300 so i would suggest that anyone doing it get it done by a shop. But damn does it look nice. The pictures don't even do it justice. I can't believe how sweet his gauges are:cool:

either get it done buy a shop or just dont push it, dont force it if its not going on. Either cut the hole bigger or cut slits until it fits nicely

There should be a "sticky" thread for this

The reverse gauges are off the hook. Not bright at all, not ricey at all, the best interior mod IMO. I went through three cluster gauges. The APC gauges are a total horror story and their tech support is even worse. They do fit over the needles. But BARELY! I got em' from procarparts.com for $45 but one member said they got em' cheaper on EBAY. Pics of the gauges on the boards don't do em' justice, they are off the hook. I would have paid triple for em'.

BTW......Zacky-do you still need the clear plastic piece?
