Retrofitting a power rear view mirror

I'm looking at getting a CIPA 36400 mirror to replace the stock one. Anyone have any experience with how hard it is to run the wires? I'd like a temp sensor on the car, have one on my other car and the auto dimming would be nice.

If anyone has any info about other makes/model's of auto dimming rear mirrors they have installed, I'm all ears.

Factory Protege5 mirror # 0000-8C-A07-C has the temperature and compass as well as auto dimming
# 0000-8C-A06-A is auto dimming/compass
