I've owned my MS6 for 5 days or so now, and I CONSTANTLY run into the powerloss issue. Even though I only run 94, I can only really gun it LATE at night when it has really cooled down. I talked to my tech about the recall, but he said it was a last resort and recommends I don't get it. He said my problem might go away after running a few tanks of 94 (since the dealership obviously had crap in it)
My question is, can I speed up this process by resetting my ECU? (disconnecting my battery) How long will I have to leave it disconnected, and will doing this affect anything else?
