Does anyone on here have instructions for the switching box, specifically for the Mazda 6? When I ordered mine, I got instructions for the 3/CX-9, but no 6 material. If anyone could email or post up a .pdf I'd greatly appreciate it.

NO!!! We dont like moderators..... ;) ......Dunno how to do that sorry...

I might be asking for something that doesn't exist. Apparently, in the database for parts, the switching box only shows up for a CX-9 and Mazda3. Or at least the part # I have does (C9F1-V6-261)

I got them for 3 and the CX-9, that's it. I don't think it was designed for the 6 at all.

thats odd, it says form techline that your aux input should not interfere with it but what year is your mazda 6, i will check again to help

my guess would be that it plugs in the same spot as teh axxess unit, if it does, you can follow my how-to...otherwise, sorry about your luck (dunno)

Are you saying that the aux input can be added to a MS6 with Sirius and Nav and not interfere...Unlike the 'ipod' plug interface that would require one of the 2 Sirius/Nav ports?

The Axxess unit plugs in 'underneath' the radio, where the modular port is, where the switch box/iPod/Sirius connect to the back, at the 16 pin expansion port. The radio software can only identify one at a time (at least from my experiences) possibly all Mazda components, but I'm not 100% sure this will work. With my NEO and switch box, it would send power to the port, but would not allow any communication to the radio via the expansion port. Only the one connection would work, in this case whichever one connected to the "SAT/CH" slot worked flawlessly, while the "AUX" port did not.

I'm looking to use iPod and Sirius in tandem. I have the NEO adaptor for iPod and the factory Sirius unit.

I know it's not the same, but I have Sirius and the Aux-Mod installed - works great. It uses the Media/Tape port on the radio, so there is no conflict with the Sirius radio.

It's kind of a no-frills aux port for your radio. You won't see tracks on the display, or control your I-Pod from the radio, and the display will read "tape", but it works great otherwise. Easy install too (relatively).

I'm gonna end up with the Axxess unit after all. I'm just waiting to get rid of my NEO kit so I can order the Axxess one and install it. At least now we know for certain what works and what doesn't.
