true!!!i had to stick my big ass hands in there and cried cuz it hurt to take my hand out and alot of cuts so expect that. the passenger one would be most easiest the driver side is most hardest

taking the light out ***** up the aim

u sure? i thought the whole case comes out, with the adjusting bracket and lamp in one piece, meaning the light will be still adjusted when taking in and out.

Yeh thats how it was on my eclipse, I havent looked at these though... I tried to get the turn signals out and opted on waiting lol, its a b@tch to change the headlight bulbs too, the metal clip dosent wanna work for me. Reason being my buddy VeeDub bulbs fit my car so I put on in to see if I would like a 7000k color bulb, and I dont... Fender liner idea wouldnt seem too hard, I think you gotta take the bumper off to get the headlight out? Thats how my eclipse was lol, I see a lot of similarites for some reason, I hope the run better though ;)

Ehh, I like that idea of finding a chick to do it for me. Then you have a reason to thank her after (nana) .

Yeah the clip is a b@tch...but all you need to do is push down with a somewhat heavy force and then move it vertical ( i think?!) until you feel it go in. My hands always have imprints for hours later!!

you dont have to completely take out the fenderliner... i found that taking 3 of the screws out allowed me to move it enough to easily access the turn signal bulb...

definately the way to go....

lol yeh I got it too work, the first time I took it out to double check the bulb I some how bent the metal clip, I spent about a half hour struggling to get it in then realized that, duh. And then the second time to swap bulbs it was just a pain, def had the imprints you speak of lol

never ask me if I'm sure... I work on cars for a living, and if I'm not sure about anything I either don't post a response or say that I'm unsure

there's always a little tollerance in how you install the headlight itself on the car... the holes are bigger than the bolts for this reason... it is so that it can be adjusted to fit around the body panels on the car... removing the light will mean that it will no longer be in the exact same position as it was originally and that means you HAVE to reaim it

you'd be surprised how much a 10th of a degree of misaim makes!

and you DO have to remove the bumper to remove the headlight

Yup, after I replaced my turn signals I had to re-aim them. The rears were really hard to aim!

+1 Allot easier than tearing up your hands and getting (argh)

if you want to waste your time reaiming these hard to aim headlights (because of the weak cut off), go right ahead
