Replacing Turbo

Vibration has a way of working bolts loose... it used to be the absolute norm for header bolts to need periodic re-torquing.

Also dissimilar metals and extreme heating/cooling cycles can cause them to work their way loose.

Yeah, it's flashed. I avoid both Durham and Al Smith in Raleigh because they both have questionable reputations.

oh yea three trys on the coolant leak

Jinx- do you mean you had to go to the dealer 3 times for your coolant leak?

jess had my turbo replaced. blew the bearings on the first 1 got oil in the ic piping and had to get new 1's. got the new pea shootin t25 and i haveoil leaking from that as well. not a lot but enough to smell. shoul i take it back in or just roll with it. i heard theres only 14 turbos left thats jess the turbo alone....

yea three times, and i still smell coolant. they fired the only mech that would belive the s*** i would say about my car

you will always smell coolant from the MSP. especially when driven hard. It concenred me @ firsat, but the coolant level have not gone down for me @ all. I traced ot to fumes coming out of the overflow pipe. now if your coolant level is slowly dropping then that is a different story...
