Replacing roof for a sunroof?

Hey guys I have a question. I was thinking about getting a sunroof installed on my 06 Mazda 3. I was looking at installation costs and then I wondered if I find a Mazda 3 at a junk yard with a sunroof would it be easier to replace the whole roof with the one with a sunroof or should I just pay to have one installed?

That sounds like replacing the whole roof would be quite the project, mostly cuz instead of just cutting the small section of roof you have to insert some sort of support between the tops of the door frames. If you have a full body shop and a weekend or two you could probably do it, but I've thought about the same thing and I feel like it would be easier to just have a shop do it.
