Repair Questions

So, I had this car when it was brand new (99 LX). I was 16, it was my first car...so that is just to preface the condition that you are about to see. Now, lately I have been getting more into how to fix vehicles, clean em up, etc. It has been a lot of fun, apart from the money bleeding from my wallet. I have decided that instead of spending money on a new car, why not just make mine nicer and save myself some monthly payments.

So here are my questions. About 6 years ago, I was hit by a truck in a parking lot, and never got it fixed (hit and run, didn't want it on insurance). My drivers side door has a nice fat dent, and the drivers side front panel is like a mogul slope. Wondering the cost to repair, or im thinking I should just replace them. I saw in this thread that he put on 01-03 sedan fenders and front bumper. It looks nice, might try that with a different bumper. Ok, so here are the pics of THAT damage.

The other, more IMPORTANT thing is this: About 6 months ago, I got in a low speed fender bender with a lexus....it won. You can see the bends in the frame that I have outlined. What is the name for that part, is it replaceable, and how much crap would I have to go through to change it, looks like a simple bolt on.

And, yeah, first thing I should do is wash it and the engine bay.

Wow, your car looks pretty effed up. I got pretty much identical damage to the same frame part, only on the passenger side. Ive gotten a good look at it. I just winched it back out and it looks much better, but not perfect. You might want to take the grill off and check the frame piece that the headlight attatches to. Cuz I had damage to another piece that is vertical. guess what Im trying to say is that you might not need to replace to frame parts on the front (which btw, looks welded, not bolted) -- you can just use a winch like myself. I drive a 2002 lx so mine might be a bit different.

Bleh thats what I was afraid of. I am not sure if it is worth it to spend the money to repair the frame of that, it is pushed back far enough to jack with the lights and the hood latch.

I know a guy that is selling a 2003 Mazdaspeed protege with an aftermarket ECU for $2000, you can buy the car and use all the parts you need off it. The MSP was flooded and the guy took the front bumper, lights, and hood, but other than that is whole.
