Anyone here going to be at the AutoX event up at Fort Devens this weekend? It's hosted by the Renegade Miata club, but is open to all Mazdas. This will be my first AutoX event so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm gonna post something about it in the MS3 welcome lounge too. Just curious if anyone else will be there.

I'm always up there for both Renegade Miata and SCCA, so you can look forward to seeing me there. :) I believe a few other members on here are attending too.

Also a good reminder is to wear good shoes as you will be standing on your feet for half of the day.

The Yokos will have great grip as a street tire, feel free to check out our local auto-x club, there is a lot of useful information on it.

lol poor James. Bob is not going to make this one but he is going to SCCA on Sunday. SCCA will be something I'm looking forward to seeing with the new board of directors and all, especially since Bill Gendron is on the board...

Probably because you were the only one in that class.

If someone is driving through Worcester, i wouldnt mind being picked up so i can spectate :)

I live in worcester so I could bring you.

Glad to see so many of you guys will be there. However I honestly can't say that I would reconize most of you in a crowd. Is there a secret handshake or something? Some way to pick each other out? I don't want to be all alone :D!

This event is kinda a "So you want to autocross" or Autocross 101 thing from what I have been told. But I am curious about how the MS3 will perform. It does well on the skid pad and in the slalom so i hope it will do well here.

To be honest im more curious about the car's performance then I am my own.

I was going to be there..... but my engine compression is bad enough I might not make it to Devens in the first place!

Just got back from dropping it off at Liberty for confirmation of diagnosis and replacement. Tasca compression numbers came back 5.0 5.0 4.9, 4.8 5.3 5.1 (6.9 is minimum to pass)

I'll be trying to get the the rest, though my wife just gave me the clearance to start looking for a good Miata. Asked enthusiastically actually, she wants to get rid of her van.

Wowza.. your car actually starts? If it failed at Tasca why bring it to Liberty? I know I had a annoying experince with 'em (cracked my oil line to the cooler) but overall the Service Manger was a stand up guy. PM me so we don't thread jack.

Again I'll be there after I fix up my own car :D Be nice to see some of you guys again (that and I want to hear Marc's exhaust note now hehe)

not sure if the exhaust is done yet. I don't think it is, but soon. Anyways, looking forward to seeing everyone there. Forgive me if I'll be a bit standoff-ish... we're treating that day for settings in suspension and I have a lot of things in mind.
