I have two 750W amps and two 12" 500W subs. I know that the current wirring in the MSP cannot handle this. So I must remove the power wire and replace it with my own. Has anybody actually tried removing or putting in a new power wire? I'm not the greatest when it comes to these things.

Also, what gage wiring would I need for this setup? The amps have a 40 fuse if that's any help.

i installed 2 amps in the back of mine.
1 rf 600a4 and 1 rf800a2.
for the power wire i ran 1, 4 gauge wire to a distrbution block in the back.
i used 1 60 amp fuse.

it was fairly easy.
i ran the power wire long the drivers side.

What are the amps and...........

PUT THIS IN THE AUDIO SECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my bad if this is in the wrong section. Just that this is for the MSP. It's really just the power wire I'm worried about. I don't like the idea of somebody else or myself removing panels and being put back on sqeeking/rattling. All I really want to do is replace the existing 10g power wire that's there. How easy is it to remove the wiring? Does it run along the middle of the car or driver/passenger side? I think I'll go for a 4g wire with 60A fuse.
