Removing rear mazda 2 badge?

Hi guys, if I remove the rear mazda 2 badge is it just using double sided tape or is there holes drilled behind with screws?

I want to remove it for the clean look...

The word "Mazda" is held on with tape and a couple of positioning pins. If you remove the badge, there will be holes on the rear hatch.

The "2" next to it is just held on with tape.

is it just a matter of popping the mazda badge off from the outside or do I need to take off interior panels to push it out so i can plastidip them?

If you just want to plastidip them you can spray them while they are on the car.
The plastidip peels off the paint. Just dont try to scratch it off or you will scratch the paint of the car.

The "Mazda" badge has both the pins and double-sided tape. The pins are more for positioning than anything. If you peel the badge off the car, you'll need to apply new automotive tape (3M sells double-sided automotive badge/trim tape, get it at auto parts stores) before you stick it back on the car.
