Remember Sir Nuke?

This is what Sir Nuke sent me.

"It has been a long time. I am doing better. I have been home for a while,
but I am still in rehab. I was going four days a week for starters, now I am
down to two days a week. I will be done with my rehab on Sept. 30th. Then I
will go back to work. It can't write very well yet, as my right hand
as still a little leak but is getting better."
I am a T-Bone accident survivor, this landed me in a coma for 24 days.

I know rehab is a long process Nuke, but stick with it. It sounds like you're doing very well.

We all hope to have you here, starting a 'food fight' or two, haha! We all miss you man...

Sir Nuke...did he have flaming skull stickers on his P5?

Yup...according to his post...He'll be out of rehab on Sept 30th! :D

We're all looking forward to seeing nuke on the forums again!

Wow......I bought a 2003 P5 in late 2002 -- I still remember Sir Nuke way back then!! Get outta dat rehab ;)

WOW, I have not been on the boards for quite some time, but I vividly remember Sir Nuke and especially food fights. Hope you make a full recovery Sir!!!

To make things even more tougher...he lives near Houston and hurricane Rita is coming. He and his family are safe, quite a long drive away from his home. Let's pray that no one in that region gets hurt.

Sir Nuke hopes to be back online soon, but the storm might delay this more, depending on damages it causes.

Thanks for all the support.

Latest news from our friend

Got this from Sir Nuke this morning

"My rehab is doing well, in fact, tomorrow is the last day, I will still need
to do a lot of work to get back in shape, but that will take a little while.

I have come a long way, and have a little ways to got. But it will just take

some time. I will go back to work next week."

This forum is going to explode when a 'newbie ' introduces themself and the first response is the 'food fight' welcome from the successfully rehabilitated SIR NUKE !! -Get Well !

All I know is that he was to be back at work in October. I sent him and his wife an email 10 days ago, no answer...

I will call him and give an update by the end of the week.

Thanks for asking.

Nuke, you are one of the veteran pioneer P5 dudes. You deserve all the health and wealth in the world. You are such a great asset to this community. I hope you get well soon. I was quite concerned once I found this out as you're one of the guys who's been very good to me.

Get well soon,

Rishie

Latest news from SirNuke - Great ones too!

"Sorry for not getting back to you MUCH sooner. And thank you for taking the time to call. I have gotten back to work and I am now working full time. That was driving me NUTS. It is so good to be back at work.

Everything is going very well. It will still take a long time to get all of my pieces working like they use to, but I have the time. My body gets better a little at a time, but it's MUCH better than it was. I am no longer going to therapy, that ended in September, but I started going to a gym and working out before I stopped going to tharapy, and I go the gym and work out at least 5 days a week.

My bike made it. the HD shop I go to is fixing it all up. Of course I know the owner very well. And told me that he would put his best men on the job.

The P5 is in great shape. it still looks like the day I took it home. its 4 1/2 years old now, and I only have 10500 miles on it. and its NEVER been washed, because it's still that clean. I never take it of the garage unless there is NO chance of rain and the sun is shinning. NOW my truck is an other matter all together! ha ha ha."
