Regarding FMIC, hardpipes, and BOV

Okay I know that in order to install the BOV, you need hardpipes, but I plan on a FMIC eventually. Should I just wait? I really wanna do something small for right now like a BOV, but don't wanna be wasting time or money either, considering my plans for FMIC.

I think you're right, but damnit I'm itching to get something and a bov just sounds so nice right now. Oh well I'll think of something else small to get. I do have gauges btw.

just buy a BOV and get the adapter flange and use 1" tubing

get an intake or boost controller if you want to do something small, unless you have those already

I say wait. Coming from someone that has both. The bov causes a few problems. Sometimes my car stalls and studders. Im trying to figure out how to get my bov and the factory recirc installed together to stop the stall and flutter my only real problem is that my factory one leaks. Well , bascially, DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST THE PIPES AND BOV MIGHT BE MORE THEN YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH. TRUST ME

yeh i plan to recircluate a greddy type s or turbo xs bpv.....unless someone gets the emanage to work so i can use its bov anti stall function

I almost decided on getting hardpipes myself shaolin. But I decided I would splurge on the FMIC. Better for our cars in the long run. I'm ordering my FMIC and downpipe this week. As soon as I get a response to my PM. I also ordered a Blitz Dual SBC Spec-R, finally getting rid of that pesky MBC. Just hold off to get a fmic. Why spend a third to a half of what a fmic kit cost for hardpipes for the oem ic when you could just save a little more and get the fmic and be happy in the long run.

i say wait 'cause that's what i'm gonna do, too. i don't really see too much interest in hard pipes after having them installed already and then trying to sell them. you lose money anyway. just save up your money and wait for the FMIC. besides getting the BOV, you also get a nice FMIC to help your engine and turbo breathe a little easier.
