Hey guys, I picked up some used Work wheels from a friend of a friend, and they need to be refinished. They are the Steez Nicross wheels in black chrome, and he Plastidipped them. They have curb rash as well as the finish chipping, and I was wondering if I would be able to sandblast the original finish off to get back to a semi-flat starting point so I can fill the curb rash spots and respray them.
If they are worth putting the work into, I'd like to put them on my '12 Mazda 3 hatch, but I'd need springs as well. The specs on the wheel are 18x7.5 +55 offset. Am I going to run into any fitment issues? Not looking to tuck the tires, just get it a little lower, like a 1.5" drop. I have almost no time to do research, so I'm hoping you guys can help fill me in while I dig through all these posts looking for the info I need to make an educated decision.
