Redlining!

hey guys! lol im about to go out right after school, because it suppose to be great weather outside! about 80 degrees! first great day of spring for va! im goin out with a couple of freinds on some windy roads and see bad winter has been on my car. so im goin out and just wonderin if redlinin sometimes not the whole time would b ok? like about 7k... you guys think the motor would hold up ok?

I would suggest against it... Try staying between 4500 - 6500, if you're going to do anything of the sort, and err on the side of not redlining it. It'll survive, sure, but the bearings will be taking a beating, and if you take a nice hard corner at 7k, and incidentally starve the oil pickup, say bye-bye to a bearing or three.
