Received my GPS from Car Advanced yesterday. Quality is near-oem (minus the HUGE harness). Buttons, plastics, and labels are all very well made. However, one minor problem is that I have an 08.5...so the flat black wouldn't match the fingerprint-black. But as I knew this before ordering, I placed an order a a week earlier for a Roll of Gloss Black Vinyl. While its not a prefect match, I think it turned out really good in comparison to the flat-black. Sound quality is great compared to stock, and actually produces bass. Installation was also fairly easy, minus the wiring harness as others have mentioned (its seriously huge). Surprisingly the Route 66 maps are also quite good. I was able to find POI for all sorts of places around me, even locations as recent as 1-2 years old. Might try to locate some TOMTOM maps still though just to see how it goes. Also, as others have mentioned, the IPOD interface isn't all that hot. You can't openly select albums, instead you must simply scroll through them 1 at a time, and each album has to start playing and load the tag information. It works, but its not the best out there...many will opt for the standard AUX they include instead...I know I will as I can output my iPhone Rev boost gauge onto the screen....
One thing I highly recommend doing is setting up a USB HDD. The iPod/iPhone interface may be lacking, but the ability to have a hidden HDD with gigs of music make up for it. You can route the USB cable to the glovebox, or my preference, you can route it to the armrest console. It stays hidden and will be easily accessible to unplug and update the drive contents. Pics of that will come soon.
for now, here are some pics of some of the menu's and screens shown in the blue and orange GUI options
