reconditioned msp bumper cover

recently purchased a 2003.5 msp. noticed front bumper is a from a standard protege. rockauto has reconditioned bumpers at $142 + $100 shipping.

anyone have feedback on there 'reconditioned' bumpers?

also anyone near raleigh,nc interested in a getting one? first one is $100 shipping, 2nd +$36, 3 or 4 and its still 136 shipping - helps get the price down if we can combine an order

the details on rockauto.. not very detailed but i would guess more towards something flexible

cool! i can accept truck shipments at work - we have a forklift. with (2) bumpers its $420.73/2 = 210.37/each delivered, (3) bumpers would be 187.84/each delivered. would be nice to get one more buyer in.

im calling monday for more details on 'reconditioned' and fiberglass/urethane

i called and got the same line - should be like new

How do they not know the material it is if it's reconditiond? I'm sure if it had chips in it they would need to fill them in right? But if it truly is oem then it's urethane

i lean towards urethane - doesnt matter to me, its going on a time trials car.

i can do a week or two. i was just looking at schedule to get this car ready for time trials and have some time. need the oem bumper for that - first event will be july at Hyperfest or August at VIR
