I finally today recieved the Racing Mazda Header, everything seemed to shipped right, it was all wrapped in bubble wrapp. First off let me tell you, i will never order anything again from Racing Mazda. First thing i noticed is that there are little knicks on the header. Another thing that really concerned me was, were the header bolts up to the block, the i guess you can say "runners" (holes) were filled with metal shavings that came off when they grinded down the header (the flat part that connects to the block). Lets not talk about welding, all i can say is gorrilla welds all over the place, and the bolt that they used to modify headers looks like it was used before, i thought it was suppose to be atleast shiny, mine is all black. I am very unhappy with this GB, as of right now i am taking offers for the header, so anybody that might be interested let me know.

The metal shavings are probably normal...Just run some water through it and clean it very thoroughly if you ever do install it...Sometime's brake rotors get shipped the same way, the vents are all filled with machine dust that flew off when they machined it...It should wash right out...
do the welds just look bad? or are there any gaps or anything...If you see daylight through welds, that sucks and attempt to get your money back...
Honestly though, it is a cheap header...cheap headers usually have ass problems in the looks department...but it still probably performs ok...The stock manifold looks like s*** too, but it is reliable...same probably with that header...

Man that sucks that it came like that... pics would help cause i may be interested in it as well.. i was going to jump in the GB but i ended up not... for some reason im kind of leary about GB's..... but pics would be really nice! post'em when you get'em!

No...I don't think anyone carries the JDM mazdaspeed ones regularly in the U.S., and they also don't fit properly without some modifications...
From what I remeber these were being built for the GB, which is one reason i guess it took so long...and a few other guys had the racing mazda header before the GB...

I just cant decide if i want to keep it or not, from far away it looks awesome, but as you look closer you start to notice the knicks and blemishes. i tried to put it on today, i had the stock header off and everything when i noticed, that right before my cat there is no bolt holes or bolts, the stock down pipe was welded to the cat. So i had to put everything back on and wait till monday to take it to a local performance shop to get it welded on.
