I'm not sure which workshop manual you have. You should have the Engine L3 with TC manual. Part number 1833-1U-05H.
It covers tear down and reassembly of the engine. Loads of specifications and step by steps.

Any idea where i can get a hold of that?
if u havent put an engine back together before, then dont. take it somewhere before u royally screw yourself.
Get the engine manual and you should be good to go as long as you have all the necessairy tools and measuring devices like i did.
you need special service timing tools and the engine manual to do this right. it is nowhere near as easy as putting a protege engine back together. have done several of these. timing must be spot on, and if it is not you will have piston to valve interference and you run the risk of bending or breaking a valve. get the manual and get the timing tools, you should be good to go.
booooo for interference engines lol. I like my protege non interference motor
