Rear Wiper Delete?

Has anyone removed the rear wiper on their 2010 MS3? I'm looking to do a delete and find something to plug the hole with. Any suggestions? I've searched and so far haven't found anything.

Acura Integra wiper plug is the only one I know of...not sure if it fits on the 3's though as I have a Protege5, but it is the only plug that comes to mind...

Thanks for the 411. I'll have to see if some MS3s will post up. I know Home Depot has some of those lock bushings that might work. I'll probably head over there today and see what they have before I tear it all apart.

Im sure home depot would have something you could modify to do the trick?

I'm hoping to get by there tonight. I just need to measure the hole that needs to be plugged. I'm surprised no one has done this yet. It looks really clean when you delete the wiper IMO. Been searching through the 1st-gen areas and haven't found much useful yet.

Why remove the rear wiper? Cleaner appearance?

Exactly! A bit of rain-x every week and it works better than a wiper. Especially on the back. Now to find someone that's done this so I can get the inside scoop. I guess I'll have to experiment.

Here is a pic of it done on the Protege5...

My pictures (some have already seen). Home depot has the item, 7/8" plug in the hardware isle (drawers), bend to fit and use some silicone.

Looks really nice! Thought you mentioned it was a 7/8 plug? I'm hitting home depot tonight after work and spraying in my paint booth (aka my balcony storage closet).

I was going off my memory, Old Timers is starting, you are right 7/8" and I fixed the number above.
