I have noticed that everyonce and a while there seems to be some dribble comming out of my rear window squirter. does anyone else have this problem?

and if so, is there a way to fix it?

the thing just sucks!!! from a dead stop and then u pick up fast... yes water comes out... its a malfunction... the dealership told me!!

yeah every time i wash and detail my baby that happends .. i get her all dry adn waxed and by the first light i get challenged and ther it goes pissing down the windo and it leaves stubborn ass stains on the windows too

Haha, I had the same problem when I first got the car, it pissed me off so bad, I ended up making about 5 trips to mazda. And everytime they would just replace the nozzle or something. Finally I took one of the mechanics for a ride to show him, he told me it's not a race car, and that he'll fix it, so the next day I return and, unbelievably, it's fixed. So here's what they did; The washer fluid container is located up front, on the passenger side of the engine, it's shared with the front window washer too, the hose for the back washer is routed through the a pillar and makes it's way to the back running along the roof, no here is where the problem lies, if you notice the nozzle is at a lower position than the hose, so natrualy it tends to drip out under acceleration. What Mazda did with my vehicle is re routed the hose along the bottom of the car, like where the electronics for the rear tail light etc. It solved the problem, I think Mazda is trying to avoid a recall but when I showed up with the problem they said they never heard of it. who knows??? Anyway, thats how to do it.

I found it only does that when you use the nozzle, I went for about a month without using the nozzle, and it never dribbled again, I just used it the other day, and now it dribbles again, just, stop using it, lol. Water gets stuck along the long ass hose that leads to the back of the car, when you accelerate fast enough, it pulls it out into the low pressure area behind the car.

yup same here it only leaks if u use it if u dont and let it dry up then it stops but as soon as u use it ur back to pissin on ur rear window......

I wish I had a nozzle like my buddy's old Ford Explorer. It was broken so it was pointing up instead of down. So when he wanted to piss someone off or someone pissed him off, he got in front of them and turn his rear wiper on. Of course, the car behind gets splattered. It's the best when the car behind had just been washed.

Actually it's funny you mention wiper nozzles. If you take a sewing needle or small pin, you can reaim the wiper nozzle to spray wherever you want. Just stick the pin in the nozzle hole and move the metal piece around...just like a showerhead. I adjusted mine so they would hit the windshield better, but you can also make them go over the windshield to hit tailgaters...lol.

A number 67 drill bit (.032") is the perfect size for reaiming the nozzle balls, but then that's probably way too much information. Jim
