Rear vents issue

Hi,

Just got my CX-5 a couple of weeks ago and since then it's been 4 adults driving around town and to the rockies during the weekends. The issue for the occupants seating in the rear seats is that they get no hot air out of the rear vents located under the 2 front seats. We have set the heating to +22.5C, with and without A/C on, and selected the lower vents option only.... and I have put my hand under the front seats and no air at all!

Anybody else experienced this situation before? I'll definitively call the dealership but wanted to know if I might be doing anything wrong.

I did not think there were rear vents. Are you sure there are?

Yes, there are... have a look at the manual; I was even told about the difference with the CX-9, which has climate controls in the back of the center console... but that the CX-5 still had vents.



I am going to sneak under the front seats today to have a look at those vents...

There are ducts under each of the front seats. Make sure nothing is blocking them.

I found mine by accident looking for a nail file my wife had dropped.
