Rear Seat tracks

Hey All,

Used 07 CX-9 GT owner here.

I got a used 9 and found that it's hard to move the seats on it's track to get access to the third row.

Took it to the dealers and they at first thought it was a new car and said I needed to break it in. Ha Ha Ha

They I took it in and asked for a grease job and was told they did it but it didn't do much.

Is this common with y'all? Do the tracks get sticky as time goes by?

The cx-9's on display at the dealers all seem to move really smoothly.

I have to use two hands to get it to move.

Something must be in the tracks. Take a shop vac and clean them. Also, check with stealer.

Same problem with my 2010 1 month old cx-9. A friend decided against buying the cx-9 because of this hard-to-move seat.

The seat may be a bit hard to move for young kid (<10), but not difficult for adults with one hand.
