S SweetD Member : 02 Protege ES May 4, 2011 #1 When I bought my Protege with 100K miles on it, the rear O2 sensor was bad. Replaced it right away, now after 30K miles the car just threw the P0037 code again. How long are O2 sensors supposed to last? Engine is completely stock.

T talltim : 2001 Mazda Protege ES 2.0 May 4, 2011 #2 I would simply disable it. There are instructions around. You use 2 spark plug non foulers to move the 02 sensor out of the exhaust flow some.
