rear fender liner when rolling?

I am about to roll the rear fenders on my speed3..I noticed inside/behind the fender lip, there is a small portion of the liner/shroud that seems like it would prevent being able to flatten the fender all the way. Can someone tell me if you just go ahead and roll without touching/removing any of this?

Can you provide a pic? There is a small metal tab that can be hammered down in the rears for more clearance. I believe it it the metal body connecting to plastic bumper

the only parts you need to roll do not require any special treatment to the fender liner.

p.s. I rent a fender roller.

Ok thanks. I have already grinded the tab with the screw. Hopefully I can roll until where it meets the bumper and be good so I won't have to mess with the intersection.
