2017~2025 Rear differential failure

Why would anyone want to stay with Mazda when rear differential is a common issue at under 100k miles, and the cost of replacement on average is $5500, never mind other accruing expenses? The response from corporate is beyond irresponsible.

In this video they test vehicle body rigidity, and then the AWD systems on rollers and a dirt incline. It’s interesting to note that the Subaru Forester couldn’t make it up the dirt incline. The CX5 segment starts at 29:20
