how are you going to make this? A mold or by hand? I will mock up something that I think would be nice, just reinstalled xp so need to find my solidworks disc... Basically the piece on the bumper now changed a bit but still has the same mounting tabs.

Something I came up with quickly. The place would replace the bottom piece of the bumper, the part that snaps in. (the part that makes it different from the regular 3).

I made it roughly the same as the current part but with a bit of the diffuser look to it. Just showing what I think would be easy to install and look like it belongs there since you wont have to drill or screw it into the actual bumper.

yea but then it would just look stock with a few of the vertical slits in it. I think if we are gonna have something made and pay money for it, I think it should hang lower and give the rear end a more aggressive look especially considering we don't have any rear add on's, kits, or lips for the ms3 to make it look lower to match the front lips and sideskirts available for this car. Very nice sketch tho man, gotta hand that to you!! But I think we need something more aggressive and something that will hang lower.

Well thats the beauty of using that piece though, it can hang lower if you want, just saying it should be made to fit where that piece went. Like design it to replace that piece but still have stock style mounting.

there are so many things wrong with that photo.... the all black badges, EXCEPT for the M. the wing, the rubber, the crazy cartoon camber, that wrong ass hanging off the back, that 'stab it through there' muffler, the 'i date a stripper' plates, 'reverse spider with red eyes' tail light treatment... heheheehe...

I think that rx7's diffuser makes the car look super cheap. The piece looks poorly made.

I will see what I can do about scanning the rear piece that clips in so I can have it accurate.

Great Idea to use the stock piece in a way, OEM mounting is the way to go! I think the fins should be more aggressive but its a good start.

My suggestions for a diffuser would be a simple style with vertical fins, much like that sketch posted earlier. Those diffusers like the ones on the Evo an Sti would only look good on our car if we had a full aero bodykit to compliment it IMO. If you just have some big carbon fiber diffuser hanging off the back with nothing else to compliment it, its going to look silly.

I know, i wasint saying it was amazing looking, I was just using his rear diffuser as an example. Too bad his evo would kill both of our MS3's combined......haha
