Hey guys,

I like to consider my mechanical knowledge to be great, but I am currently at work and we have a car in the shop that is blowing my mind. I have a an Grand Prix that when the ignition is off is dumping fuel into the intake. I have checked, fuel pressure regulator, IAC, replaced the computer, checks grounds, checked injectors, checked cam and crank sensors, looked at TSB's on ShopKey, etc. I cannot figure out what's wrong with this vehicle. If anyone has any suggestions please post away.

Thanks guys and or gals.

Does it have the 3.8L V6? If so, let me know if you ever figure it out because I have the same problem with the GM 3.8L in my 1995 Olds. Replaced fuel pressure regular, fuel pump, and fuel pump relay but no dice. I cannot figure it out.

Yep it is in fact the 3.8 V6. I have also replaced those components and still nothing as well. I am completely lost as to what to do next.
Thanks for all your help guys.

PS. I would love to blow the car up too.

I bet it's a fuel injector that is stuck open. The injectors on many older GM cars are notorious for sticking.

I hate to piss on anyone's fire, but I tried that too. First I did a motorvac on the car, and I wasn't happy that it had worked so I replaced the whole fuel rail as well as injectors.
