Figured I would put this out since I havn't seen any other confirmations yet.
I drive 80 mile round trip each day, about 32 miles each way of highway, on mostly cruise control from 65-70mph, and the rest as light town driving. Previous car was a Acura RSX-S and I saw about 31mpg average(on premium) on that, so comparitively I expected to get rather close to the listed highway milage.
For the second tank of gas, I got 495 miles and used 14.5gallons, predicted range left was 23miles.
Comes out to about 34.2 mpg. Which isn't bad, but I was hoping to see a bit closer to the 38mpg.
From watching the rather addicting current mpg screen, when I'm on the highway it's definitely getting in the 38mpg range, but for being a bit of a larger car the accel, even reserved, around town brings it down quick. I'll update if it changes with the next few tanks, but so far I'm loving the car across the board. I also really don't feel much of a loss in handling and sporty-ness compared to my RSX, so thats saying something for the zoom-zoom considering its a far bigger car. Also considering I bought the first one off the lot, I'll also get to look forward to likely having the highest milage car considering the drive.
