I like all cars...lol but nothing gets me going like 317hp out of a all motor 1.3l it is like riding a bike with 4 wheels, and for the money a 1st gen RX7 with a turboII runs 12.2 in the 1/4 BONE STOCK it is hard to beat that for the money. But anyways good luck on the car jonboySpicyMchaggis said:It truely is. I forgot SPD was out there. Chris is a great guy. I have several friends with rotaries. High mileage turboII, "tweaked" rotary pick-up, and a single turbo converted FD..I play around with them a lot. It really is sad the way the FC/FD's we're concieved in the states..
no a 1st gen with a turboII swap it is easy and cheap 200hp in a 1800 lb car, i cna make a lot of money on the streets with one..lolSpicyMchaggis said:TurboII's run a 12.2 stock!? Hmm...somethings wrong then...
ha ha i would have to get a few thenSpicyMchaggis said:haha I read that wrong. Good lord I was going to say, if a stock TurboII runs a 12.2 stock we have a serious problem.
yea i meant the motor is just a stock turboII dropped into a 1st gen, my girl is medical i can't help it...lolDexter said:no a 1st gen with a turboII runs 12.2 stock...although i guess its not stock? i dont get it chris, get off the weed.

yea we have'nt got to port any yet our shop rx8 is out in FL doing some shows, we are trying to locate a motor right now, it should produce some good gains we are getting 317hp (on a engine dyno) out of a n/a right now so the renesis should have more than that. I know that dave (gutiarjunkie28) has a set he is doing some port work on though- chrisshaolin said:Hey FC3S Boy have you guys ported a renesis yet? There's a few that have been ported at home, but I don't trust myself. I want reliable NA power and SPD is just a few hours away, and one of the only good rotary shops I know of...
So what's the deal?
shaolin said:Oh I didn't know that you knew dave...I've been following his work, but he's come to a crossroad in that he's shaved one of the ports too close to the water jacket, and he's not sure if it'll be detrimental, and he's considering using epoxy??? to thicken that portion...
It's for these reasons that I'd rather take my car to a pro machinist...
Oh come on! They're both Ford motors right? (wink)KpaBap said:oh no you di-unt
