Re-installing stock intake -- what the heck is this part??

I recently bought a used 2003 MSP - woohoo loving it... Anyways..

The owner had an Injen installed. The stock overflow bottle is leaking at the mid-seam, and the car is still under warranty. I am going to take it in for that and have them check a few other things I noticed out and try and get some warranty work done as it's running out in like 10k miles.

To avoid any hassle I am putting back in the stock air box to take it to the dealer. Since I didn't install the Injen I'm having to do a little reverse-install directions from the Injen and figure out how the stock was in there. I think I pretty much have it figured out but there is this part that is left over that I have no clue.

It's a rubber mount with threaded ends on both sides, it's not listed on the Injen part list so figure it's stock and I'm not sure what it's for. Any help is apprectiated.

I think you're talking about the rubber vibration mount for the pipe after the MAF that goes into the fender well. You thread one end into the frame and a nut gets threaded onto the other end holding the pipe secure. It allows the intake to move with the engine. If the pic below is what your part looks like then it is an Injen part, not stock. If you're putting the stock system back in then you'll need to remove this.

if thats the case...you dont have to reinstall..thats an injen part

thats the bolt that you put to hold the half that goes into your fenderwell down

That's the part I was asking about - thanks very much. Yeah it was used to hold the Injen intake - I thought it might be stock because a few of the other parts were stock ones re-used as per the Injen instructions. And this one was not listed in the Injen part list instructions..
