Rca Pre-outs?

ok - just wondering......If I pull out the HU from my Mp3
would I find the same pre-outs as if I bought the HU from any store? I'd like to remove the stock system and replace with new subs and amp - I also want to install a indash monitor but I dont want to part with the stock HU - I want to run the monitor through my HU and still have room for an amp. will I have to get a new HU? Is any of this possible? Thanks Guys!

The stock CD deck in the MP3s, either a 919 or 828 both have 3 sets of preouts so you can add amps and what not, I can't remember if either have inputs which would be needed to run a dvd players audio throught the system, If it does then you can use a stand alone pull out monitor that has a built in dvdplayer, these aren't easy to find though most of the time if its a screen and dvd player then it is also a powered deck, but as long as it has rca output you can feed them into a pre in of a deck.

Honestly I would sell the deck and get a all in one combo unit that has a monitor, preamp, and dvd player built into one.

Thanks man, As long as I know that there are 3 sets of preouts then i can do what I wanted to. I plan to just install a monitor for now and hook the PS2 on it. I like the fact that I will be able to controll the sound from my HU.....(wiggle)
