Rattle/Buzz/Cricket????

Okay. I have completely checked every damn nut underneith the car and everything is tight. I just got done putting all the stock parts back on the car and now I can barely hear that damn noise. Is it caused by the intake? How the hell am I going to try to have the dealer fix this if they cant hear it? Any ideas?

I have the same freakin noise and it only comes on during certain RPM's and never at idle. I just simply cannot place the noise, although I had a feeling it was coming from behind the dash, possibly involving my AutoMeter Electronic Boost Guage. Keep me updated too, I don't have time to go through my whole car for a noise, and the dealer sucks.

Also just looking at Aarons post, that bracket looks cracked on mine too and that may have a direct effect to making those bolts noisy. I just rememberd that. That bracket that holds the exhaust looked split in half:(

I gotta check it out again when i get a chance
Well my exhaust and at least one other MSP's exhaust did fall in halF!

Im going to the dealer on tuesday for both the alarm s*** and this annoying noise. I have noticed that you can still here it so they better do something about it. I will let you all know when I get the car back.

Yes I did. The noise tunred out to be my wastegate and they replaced the whole turbo. I asked for a reason for this happening and was told that it was not a normal issue and it would not happen again. At least they fixed it the first time:)

Hmm, that is very interesting....the dealer I took my car to regarding that characteristic rattle at 1800-2000 rpm said that it was "a mazdaspeed thing", and dismissed it.

At least they recognized it was a problem.....

Thats bulls*** bro. Its like a mettalic rattle noise at exctly 1800 rpms. The dealer ordered a turbo and kept the car there that day until they were able to get a new one. I would go to another dealer. You want to get this fixed under warranty rather then something happening later on at the expense of your own pocket.
