I've noticed this past week, a couple times when I was driving the car hard (hard cornering, etc), my e-brake light will turn on. This happen to anyone else, ever?

Oh, word? How do i replace the fluid? what fluid should i use? DOT 4? where can i get it?

Take out the center console and fiddle with the wires of the sensor, they could be loose. It shouldn't have anything to do with the brake fluid

Oh, also, if i get a brake job, and my rotors are warped, can they be machined flat and reused?

ummm... it has something to do with the fluid. it functions as a check light along with saying that the ebrake is up. I had this same problem, changed pads, and the light goes away.

Yep.. the prob comes from having the pads/rotors worn down. More fluid than usual is needed to squeeze the caliper and that will trigger the light. Change your pads and fix/replace the rotors and your prob will be solved.

i believe so. although im not 100% sure.

get new drilled ones :)

well my rotors aren't warped but about 1,000 miles of tracktime and 9000 miles of normal driving on stock oem pads has taken its toll...hawk hp+ here we come

my rotors are warped and my pads are done too.

My moms car the brake light came on and it was just low on fluid like others say.

Check your pads, and your fluid level in the Brake/hydrolic fluid resovior. I had this problem because when I put my engine back in, I didn't have enough fluid in the resovoir.

the pads were almost gone at 10k miles (lots of track driving)...they were also heat soaked badly and i lost my brakes going into turn 1 at VIR at 110mph (pumped em up and got slowed down to ~60mph before going straight off)...it was kinda neat as instinct took over

anyway i have hawk hp+ pads on the stock rotors and flushed the system and put in atx super blue and now it stops with so much more authority
