dear god.... i had to take my drivers side door off to get the dam shiat to go through... i probably didn't even have to run wire, but i figured i already got all the panels off why not do it all now in case i want to upgrade amps... i know the Z's can handle way more then i am givin them... anyways i took pics and will post them later.... right now i have to go put my door back on and get that together so i can drive home... (at work) needless to say i was just (butthump) by my very own car.... (sad1)

so on talking about this with some co-workers and all the hell i went through... i basicaly came to the conclusion b/c i read a "how to" on runnin door speaker wire and thats the way they did it, that i had to do it that way to.... if i had to do this again... i would just pop off the doors... drill 2 holes and pop a couple grommets in there and some flexable hose and there you go.... job done in a couple hours instead of a couple days....

Are you talking about just the door panels??? Didn't you have to do that to put your speakers in anyways, or maybe I'm just not understanding you.... Can you post those pics so maybe i can get a clue.

Also, where did you run your speaker wires through?? The little hole that goes through the black rubber thingy where all the other wires go through(I'll post pics of what i'm talking about). I need to do this and do it cleanly, no wires showing.

will post pics soon... i ran the wires through the factory molex connector and rubber housing... it was a b**** for the drivers side but pretty easy for the passenger side...

one piece of advice... if you pop out the clip from the cabin first thing to do before you pry apart the male and female ends is put some duct tape over the edges of the stamped steel so you don't damage any wires like i did....

no didn't shock me... though i did cut all the way through one of my psngr side mirror adjusters.... i had to go to the stealership and pay 3$$ for a molex conector (though it did already have the wire attached so i couldn't f it up and have to buy more)
