Mine was a cracked manifold and low compression in piston #4 a few weeks after my dyno. Any white smoke under high boost yet? Cause that'll be your NEXT sign before it goes. Dont say I didnt warn ya.

no smoke yet...

sux but im willing to accept the consequences...

jus be going forged a lil sooner than i wanted...

Nah we played pool instead :)

On a different note...the car felt faster right after we installed the turbo, and it only got faster as you raised the boost. Therefore, that tells us that the cylinder was low in compression even before the new turbo and the dyno. In turn, that means that he should be ok if he lowers the boost a little.

upped the boost again on the gt28rs from 11psi to 13psi...

car feels freaking rediculous... i love it =)

2nd gear at 4k it pulls hard, then once it hits 5-5.5 k it get a another surge of power and the jus car torque steers and takes off. scared the s*** out of me at first time it happened. man i love having some topend power for a change.

on a wet road i lose traction in 3rd if i punch it.

anyone wanna guess how much power im puttin down??? edit: i'll be puttin it on a dynojet wednesday.

man i love my car =)

how much did you pay for the gt28rs ??

damn leave this guy alone. did you buy the car for him...no. do you pay his insurance...no. are you going to buy a new engine for his car...no. so stfu.

didnt tekkie and 505zoom also crank the boost up on the stock block and did anyone criticize them...no.

Exactly, 505zoom has every supporting mod you can think of. he's a walking testament of what you need to do to get your car at a higher boost level reliably on a stock engine.
