Ralco RZ Short Throw Shifter

I didn't know/think that this company made a STS for the MS3. Is anybody on here aware of this or have it installed? I am just wondering if this piece is truly made to fit the MS3... If so, it is the cheapest STS I have seen so far, maybe it's worth a shot!

in fact, i think a search brought up your signature on these forums.... I'm sure it is at minimum a mediocre company and a more than suitable shifter, but I would have thought that more MS3 owners would have this if it actually fit our cars.... Anyways, I don't have the money to buy one right this second, but maybe someone with a fatter wallet will look into this and let us lnow if it is legit or not... there is a website for the ebay seller: UltraRev.com

i just saw that today on ebay as well...so im wondering the same too

i have this in my mz3 and i love this thing, it isnt super super short but its shorter and the way it sits is perfect.

i couldnt be happier

i notice a good mild shorter trow but mine really wasnt much shorter just had a good feel, i did mine with new shifter bushings! mine was chrome though and came with a chrome logo'd knob! but i have a protege! lol

In the picture it comes with the bushings too. is that true, I wonder? I'm going to order something next week to correct all these botched shifts, but I'm looking at options...

I do believe it comes with the bushings... but why was it not brought to the MS3 communities' attention that this would fit okay? If you guys weigh out all the options, contact the seller, and decide it is okay, then go for it. Please let us know...I'd still consider PG's E4 performance STS (which we know is made specifically for the MS3), but at least this is an option!

They can't even show a picture? Given their past quality, i'd say stay away. I'm going for the E4P shifter from Ken.

Well its 139.99 plus 10.00 to ship it. Which actually makes it 4 cents more expensive than Kens :)

true, and ken's products are well known and very reputable.... so yeah, decision made: one more shifter on the market perhaps? but I am still liking the E4 through ProtegeGarage.... still I hope someone tries this one and really likes it.

why would u call it a pos! ive had countless complemints on my short shifter, it really is a quality made product but i would be sceptical if this would work on an ms3 i guess u just gotta know what ur lookin at!

its not a POS, and yes kens products are amazing. but this STS is not a POS. its awesome. no room to talk unless youve used it.

Alright, sorry... I didn't really mean it in that way... I guess I feel that for the MS3 I'd rather deal through Protege Garage and his products for a similar price. I bet Ralco makes a great shifter... It looks to be solid and the guys who have experience with them on here like 'em. Who knows, if it actually is built to fit a MS3 (I don't see why not) this at least expands the market a little bit.

Shoot, I'm not even looking to buy one of these right now! I just wanted to bring this product to the attention of others who may be interested... I was dumb for saying that and will correct it. Sorry guys!

thats what im saying, just because not many people have it doesnt mean its not a great product! it just means that people are pansies and shy away from the unknown and go for a product that they have heard reviews about! its alright follow the crowd, dont have a truely unique car!(iagree)

no dude im not saying your wrong but its stupid for people to bash on a product they have never seen just because they have never seen or used it ya dig?

I hear ya.... I'm just tired and "said" : ) something dumb... no offense taken on this end and I hope I didn't offend anyone else.

night all, time for some sleep i think....rough day....rough day... :)
