Yes, there is a benefit, although it is rather mild. The radiator caps you hear refered to as 1.3 bar (18.9 psi) hold far greater pressure than a stock radiator cap. Since greater pressure increases water's (or coolant/water mix) boiling point, a higher pressure cap will reduce the coolants tendency to boil.
