he has a sedan=no fit teh P5
its only a matter of chopping off 4" between the collector/baffles and the tip... its easier than hell to do and an exhaust shop should do it for like ~$20...

so all you have to do is chop off that extra little bit of pipe between the muffler and the tip on the sedan's exhaust to make it fit the p5. simpler than a circumcision.

Well if that's all then I'm in! Seeing as I've done a couple hundred circumcisions in my lifetime this should be cake! :p Ok, so solid snake you've got a new email. :D So, ahhh, who's gonna help me talk my hubby into letting me get this? :p

Well if he would answer his phone!!! Argh!

tell him if he doesn't let you get this exhaust so you can cut some of the tip off, you're gonna cut some of HIS tip off since you're in the tip-cutting mood lately.

LOL....LOL:D

Ok, just spoke to hubby and he wants to check it out a bit further as to what mod needs to be done. Can somebody point out on the pic above where it would need to be cut? Thanks!

see pic below...
basically cut out the pipe between the tip and the muffler itself, including the bracket with the holes in it...and reweld the tip onto the muffler.

Oh I see, so basically the tip would be sticking out too much, correct? That seems easy enough. And the bends look pretty much identical. So that's the only modification needed... does anyone know of a good exhaust shop? I haven't the slightest of who could do it.

midas could do it, hell anyone with a welder could do it... just take it up there on a saturday afternoon and you'll get it done in 15 minutes. just bring $20-$25 cash and they'll be more than happy to do it for you (they'll prolly just take the cash 'without a receipt') and do it. :D

tony's custom exhuast off crain hwy in glen burine.....they do good work for cheap......or any old shop with a welder and hack saw :)
