R Spicy 1 Build coming soon.......

Thanks guy's, appreciate the support! I don't know how much racing will be done, as I will be down for 6-8 weeks due to my upcoming
surgery. Some of you about it, but for those who don't I am having bariatric surgery. Since October, I have lost 53lbs on my own. After the surgery, I'll be down to 250-260lbs. So there is two builds coming, the car and me. Hopefully, Laurie will track the car and do a few. auto-x's ss well.
 
Wow good luck with the surgery hope everything goes well and you are back up and running in time to enjoy the car some this summer (2thumbs)
 
Wow, we had noticed a slimming down but had no idea of the surgery plan. This build is truely epic now. You will be in our prayers.
 
Maybe you should start a "Marlon" build thread. Good to here that your doing so well keep up the good work!!

Good luck with the surgery!!!! My mom is a registered nurse at St. Vincent Charity hospital in Cleveland and she actually takes care of bariatric patients. Would be a very small world if your surgery was there and she took care of you!
 
Ok, here is the latest for Spicy, she is done and road worthy, going to pick her up later this week! My summer tires are on her as they changed out the tires and my slicks are in the back seat. I need to go register my car and have the smog thing done. I need to put the CF hood on and have Josh get her ready fopr paint as well. going to need the windshield removed to get at the rust there too! So, Spicy is comiing back to life......

when is your surgery scheduled? youre being kept in my prayers.
 
She's passed every time, with flying colors.....it will pass again. Doesn't hurt having Laurie taking it for the e check

That's great news about Spicy Marlon!!! Do you plan on painting the hood to match or leaving it 'raw'? Looking forward to seeing some pics!!

Well, the hood is going to be left raw Jeff and we'll bring it out to LRP, I know Lauri won't make the ride out in it, because of the suspension, etc. We will have the car at the Mitty as well. We wil be putting on the hood on this weekend and once it warms up, Josh will be prepping the car for body work. Have to add the adjustable rear end links and getting her track ready
