Then you must not have seen the RAW after Owen Hart passed away. That was a heart tugger too.

but the video tribute with Johnny Cash singing Hurt did make me tear up a lil bit.

My favorite match was the HBK/Rey match.

Vickie Guerrero speaks on Eddie's autopsy report
Nov. 15, 2005

After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is still reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddies widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.

It was heart failure. It was from his past the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and thats what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.

As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadnt hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasnt feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasnt feeling good and we thought it was just road tired. So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.

When he didnt call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).

I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.

We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.

Im just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. Its touched my heart a lot.

Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.

All my life was wrestling. All he did was take care of them and live for that. And I dont know what to do now."

I got this from the WWE website.

^^^Aren't these guys tested to check for stuff like this or is this a specific type of test? I don't understand how people cannot know or just don't test especially knowing that they at one time in their life abused their body with substances.

i'm not sure narrowed coronary arteries would show up with a regular physical and blood pressure test. (as it's not systemic) perhaps someone with more medical knowledge might speak up.

But, to test for coronary artery blockage would take a very specific test. (i think they can do spectography, or ct, or angiography)

I can see how this might be overlooked - If he wasn't experiencing "classical" angina symptoms, may not have a family history of heart disease, and otherwise 'looks' healthy.......

i mean it's knowledge too.. maybe what you and i have knowledge to look for this kind of problem or even be aware. maybe he wasn't.

still it's very sad that this happened - esp at his young age.

I think the widow should sue....with wrestling arguably a sport, they should conduct physicals often, and if they do, they should have caught that and fixed it....sue the WWE! (drinks)

She can't sue the WWE because Eddie Guerrero used drugs and steroids back before he even joined the WWE...

naw, that was a birth defect (glare) ....theres no way they can prove that drug/alcohol use caused his "weird" heart....(trying to think like a lawyer)

To test for blocked coronaries first you would need to have a suspicion that there was a problem. Usually, this is heralded by angina, or activity-related chest pain/shortness of breath. With a history of this problem, you woiuld likely get an EKG to rule out any cardiac arrhythmias. The EKG would likely give clues as to what kind of problem was at the root of the chest pain. The next line would be an exercise stress test either on a treadmill or on an exercise bike. Then, they would correlate onset of chest pain with EKG findings. If there was significant exercise limitation then they would do a persantine MIBI nuclear scan which would detail blood flow to the coronaries. The MIBI scan is primarily diagnostic. An angiography would be diagnostic and possibly also therapeutic if the coronaries were found to be blocked. With the angiography procedure, the blocked coronaries could also be stented if necessary.
