1) do you have the ms cai ? if so you need the air flow straightner
2) did you get the fuel pump tsb done yet, if not get it done, it definitely helped with stumble on my car

these are the 2 big ones to check first - good luck

TSB# Bulletin No: 01-022/08 Last Issued: 04/02/2008

Subject:
ROUGH IDLE, LACK OF POWER, AND/OR MIL ON WITH DTC P2177/P2187 (FUEL
SYSTEM LEAN)

Due to low fuel pressure at the high-pressure fuel pump, some vehicles may experience the following:
Rough idle, stall, and/or hesitation under cold conditions.
Intermittent lack of power during acceleration when the engine gets hot.
MIL turns on with DTC P2177/P2187 (fuel system too lean at off idle).
This is caused by a delayed fuel pressure build-up from the high pressure fuel pump. There are two main reasons
for this:
1. The drive current from the PCM is not enough for some fuel pumps.
2. Some fuel pumps have slower response.
To fix the problem, the PCM software and the specification of the high-pressure fuel pump have been changed.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

3. For vehicles built before April 7, 2007 that are experiencing the conditions as noted in this service bulletin
after the PCM calibration update, perform a Warranty Vehicle Inquiry using your eMDCS System and
inspect Warranty Claim Inquiry Detail for high-pressure fuel pump replacement.
If no prior history of replacement, replace the high-pressure fuel pump. Refer to MS3 online instructions
or Workshop Manual section 01-14 FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.
If the history indicates part number L3K9-13-35ZB was used during a repair, use the following illustration
to inspect the production date of the high-pressure fuel pump. Replace it if the production date is before
March 26, 2007.

Im feeling this too, any way to check if your car has already got this TSB done? Can I just go to the dealer and tell them to do all the TSB Services?

Its cause your not tuned for your mods, either spark blow out from rich condition under high load, or your ecu freaking out ect... try colder plugs with a tighter gap first.

no they don't do TSB's unless you have the symptoms and point them to a TSB that will address your symptoms - a tsb is not a recall, the dealer has the option of doing it or not, basically you have to present the case that you have identified a TSB that will fix your problem

Have you been monitoring your boost level? Maybe with the bigger intercooler and now race pipe combined with cold weather and the load you put on the engine in 5th gear, you're probably spiking pretty high. Maybe this is boost cut. I know on cold nights when I get into 5th or 6th on the highway and floor it, mine will buck a bit too. My boost gauge shows a big spike.

i havent installed a gauge yet. i have one...just waiting.....and waiting.....lol to install it. getting a custom pod from a guy on the 6 forum. it goes in the triangle vent over the circular one and its still usable so my windows wont fog. pretty cool. anyone needs one.....give me a holler. but soon ill be able to monitor. it was pretty cold out on the days that it happened. will keep posted and thank u everyone for ur help and information.

I get this as well and only in 5th and 6th gear. One of two things happens to me:
1. I spike around 22psi and it takes too long to get back down to factory boost levels -- BOOST CUT
2. I get boost creep and as soon as you cross about 16psi or so -- BOOST CUT

For breathing mods I'm only on sri and catless dp/rp. Hope that helps you understand your situation a bit. We're in the same boat. You gotta figure it out. For now either install the gauge or borrow a dashhawk from someone. You can use mine but I doubt you wanna make the drive.

it feels like the car stalls for a split second kind of buck. 3rd gear shift gaaaaas 4th gear shift gaaaass 5th gear shift gaastudderaaass. lol kinda like that.

I think honestly it has something to do with the colder temps, my car started doing that once it got cold out. I seriously thought there was something wrong with my car, but that's just the way it is when it cold, when it's around 65 on the other hand I don't feel it much. Then again, my car started to get a POP between shifts now and I've haven't seen the A/F go crazy rich so not sure what's up with that.? but that's another totally different topic.
