1) Are rota sleepstreams good wheels?
2) Will this size fit my MSP: Size: 16" Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 Color: Black Offset: 40mm (also available in 45mm)
3) Thanks alot!

I will prolly be using these as track wheels so are they good for track is what I meant :D becuz they are like 13 lbs.

Do they think they would look to small on the MSP? I have a chance to get these brand new for $400 for all 4 so I think im going to do it..

I think the minimum offset you can use on the MSP is 48mm with the stock wheels being 55mm.
And if you're using them for the tracks, then they'll really be no good as you'll want wide tires like 215 or wider even.

Can you say "tire rub"?!

ok nvm i just figured out what offset is kind of... new question... will these wheels stick out? or stick in? Sticking in is bad for tire rubing right? So what will these look like? Will they be all in close in my wheel wells or will they be a little puched out? Im so confused :X

Some considerations...

what is offset?
You need to be aware of two important measurements with regard to where the wheels will sit in relation to the fender and suspension. In addition to the obvious diameter of the wheel, you need to consider "Backspace" and "Offset", as these determine where the wheel will be positioned.

Backside setting/Back spacing - The measurement from the mounting pad to the inner edge of the wheel.

Offset - The offset of the wheel is the distance from the mounting pad to the centerline of the wheel.

Do a search and you'll find plenty info on wheel offset.

Wheels with a 45mm offset will be sticking out 10mm (55-45). The tiresize will play a role also in whether they'll rub or not.

Think about it...

im still confused after like 10 searches so these wheels will stick out of the wheel wells 10mm?
Offset is the distance from the centerline of the wheel to mounting face of the wheel where it mates up against the face of the hub. If the stock MSP wheel has a 55 mm offset, that means the face of the hub is 55 mm from the centerline. Which side of the wheel is the offset to (inside or outside)? A wheel with a 45 mm offset will have the mounting face 10 mm closer to the centerline of the wheel.

Now, how wide is the stock wheel compared to the new wheel and what is the backset of both? All of this will determine where the outside of the wheel rim will be (as well as the inside rim edge also). By going from a 17" wheel to a 16" wheel, your wheel rims are gong to be in different radial locations relative to the suspension components. Remember, offset and backset both contribute to where the rim of the wheel will be positioned.

Given all of this, if you don't have all of the numbers available to compare against the stock wheel, you won't be able to tell how they are going to fit. A trial fit is the only sure way to know.
