Hi, I just made an account because I want to go look at a Mazda 3 to purchase tomorrow.

I know little to nothing about Mazdas but it looks like it is in good condition.

It's a 2004 and the mileage is 215,000. They're asking $2,800.

Will a Mazda with that many miles still be reliable? Is this a horrible idea?

sounds a little steep do they have service records? does it have a clean history? these cars are reliable but 215,000 miles is alot on any used car.

Yeah, 215k miles is pretty high, but $2800 isn't horrible. Take a look at what others are going for, get detailed service records, pre purchase inspection, etc.
